Welcome to An Intentional Life
When you live with
intention,
the fabric
of your life is woven from the threads of
your own conscious choices. Each thread
reflects the level of your awareness at the
moment of choice. We are all making
choices in
every moment, whether we realize it or not.
Once we become aware of this, we can choose
to live intentionally.
Intentions are more
powerful than wishes or hopes.
When a student
says that he hopes to do well on a test, we
stop right there and restate his desire as
an intention.
For example, I
intend to earn a B (or an A) on my math test
tomorrow.
An intention brings
with it all manner of supportive behaviors
from focus to test preparation, to
completion of assignments, to organization,
to asking questions, to getting enough sleep
and having breakfast.
These behaviors
bring clarity and confidence which make a
grade of B, or higher, a real possibility.
Whether we are aware of
it or not, we are constantly creating our
lives.
Our creations
are more in line with our true desires when
we create consciously.
We create in
dark times without realizing what we are
drawing into our lives.
My job is to facilitate conscious intentions
in both my math students and personal
development clients.
