FEES &
CONSIDERATIONS
COST:
$50 per session
Payment is made at the beginning of the
session, because we forget about it
at the end.
SCHEDULE: Mon-Thurs. 2-6 p.m.
CANCELLATION:
Payment is expected for any session not
cancelled with at least 24 hours notice.
The 24-hour-notice enables me to work
with another student who is waiting for
an opening.
When a session is cancelled it is
expected that a make-up session will be
scheduled within the same week that the
cancellation occurred.
After 2 cancelled sessions that are not
followed by make-up sessions, the
student loses the weekly appointment,
but is always welcome to arrange single
appointments as needed.
A session without homework gives us the
opportunity to:

answer questions from the
previous week

go over previous quizzes and
tests
-
review for a quiz or test
-
practice basic skills such as
fractions, integers, factoring
-
increase speed with integers or
multiplication facts
-
determine if the student works
from left or right brain and how
to use both sides

learn what to do with test
anxiety
-
improve organizational skills
Please do not cancel these valuable
sessions.
SNOW DAYS
Please call me as early as possible
on a snow day to let me know if your
child will attend the tutoring session.
I am available to tutor on snow days,
and I need to know if your child is
coming or not. There is no charge for
canceling due to inclement weather. |
