I offer one of the most comprehensive
and personal tutoring experiences a
student can receive.
I work with one student per session in
my home in a setting that is quiet and
without distraction.
The tutoring environment is filled with
many kinds learning materials and math
books.
My fee of $50 includes:
I create study sheets which clarify
steps for working a particular type of
problem as students need them, often
with their input. Students save these
sheets and use them in higher math
classes. Over the years each study
sheet is edited and improved many times.
Analysis of individual test taking
skills creates awareness that allows the
student to show on a test what he has
actually learned.
The student learns how he learns, which
side of his brain is dominant, and how
to incorporate the strengths of the
other side.

My 35 years of experience includes
teaching in the public schools in
Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia.
For the last 11 years private tutoring
has been the focus of my work.

students who have studied with me for up
to 6 consecutive years, from parents who
have sent more that one child for
tutoring, and from parents whose
children have taken a college class in
the summer so that they can come to
